We are excited to begin the 2016-2017 bar year and partner with you to reach our mission to improve, benefit, and protect the well-being of the legal profession and its members; to enhance the professional skills of our members; to encourage professional and citizenship responsibilities among the membership; to encourage spiritual and moral values; to advance the science of jurisprudence and the administration of justice; to improve the standards of legal education; and to encourage legal research and excellence consistent with the philosophy of Houstonian Jurisprudence. Our mission guides the work that we do within our community every single day.

Recently, the Washington Bar Association and the Washington Bar Association Young Lawyers Division hosted our Knowledge Is Power Voter Registration Drive during a Back to School Carnival at the Richard England Boys and Girls Club Field in Northeast, Washington, DC.  Below are photographs from the event.
