Kevin D. Judd
Kevin D. Judd is the President of the Washington Bar Association. He has served the WBA as a Board Member since 1996. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Judd has exhibited
exceptional leadership. Mr. Judd served as Chairman of the Board and First Vice President (2003-2005) and has chaired most of the Bar's signature programs, including the Annual Law Day Program, the Annual Founders' Lecture Series and Ollie May Cooper Award Ceremony, and the Annual Holiday Party.
In addition to his commitment to the WBA, Mr. Judd has contributed tirelessly to the National Bar Association by serving in the following capacities: Executive Committee Member and Board Member-At-Large of the National Bar Association (NBA); Region XII Director of the NBA; Chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the NBA; Chairman of the Healthcare Disparities Task Force of the NBA; Chairman of the Predatory Lending Task Force of the NBA; Co-Chaired the NBA Mid-Year Conference.
Historically, Mr. Judd has demonstrated his stellar leadership through his affiliation with a number of other professional organizations. Mr. Judd served as President of the D.C. Chapter of the Federal Bar Association; Board Member of the National Council of the Federal Bar Association; Chief Justice for Sigma Delta Tau Legal Fraternity, Inc.; Vice President of the Howard University Law Alumni Association-- Greater Washington Area Chapter; Member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland; and Member of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Judd focuses his practice in bankruptcy law and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and New York State Courts, and the Federal Courts of the District of
Columbia, Maryland, and New York. He is also an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers.
