Kevin D. Judd is currently serving the National Bar Association (“NBA”) as a Board Member At-Large and chairman of the NBA International Partnership Initiative committee. He is serving the NBA with distinction, having served in many leadership capacities, such as Vice President, Regional Director, Bankruptcy Law Section Chairman, CLE Seminar Lecturer and Chairman of many ad-hoc committees and standing committees since 1996. He is a recipient of the prestigious NBA Ronald Harmon Brown Award of International Distinction Award and many other NBA Presidential Awards. He is a Bar leader who has long worked to progress the NBA and the greater legal profession. Mr. Judd’s bar service exemplifies a passionate commitment to ensure that the NBA reaches its full potential as being a world class bar association affecting positive change globally and serving as a catalyst of uplifting people of African-Decent worldwide by enhancing our members’ ability to empower themselves, their clients and their communities.
In addition to Attorney Judd’s commitment to the NBA, he has exhibited exceptional leadership skills as President of one of the NBA's largest affiliates, the Washington Bar Association (WBA). Through his initiatives, the WBA received the Outstanding Affiliate of the Year Award by the NBA. His progressive leadership style and service enabled the WBA to achieve goals and implement initiatives in various areas; such as operations, membership services, and community activism. All of these accomplishments have enhanced the WBA's image within the Washington, D.C. community. He also served as National President for Howard University Law Alumni Association, President of the D.C. Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and Grand Chief Justice of Sigma Delta Legal Fraternity, Inc.
