Washington Bar Association Donations

The WBA is a resource for the legal community and a voice for its many members. Since 1925, the WBA has dedicated its efforts to advance jurisprudence; enhance minorities in society and the judicial system; and protect an under-represented class of minorities.

The WBA welcomes support from individuals and corporations that believe in the work engaged in by the association. It is with the support of its donors that the WBA is able to continue growing its reach and successfully impacting the legal community.

The WBA is a not-for-profit organization under internal revenue code 501(c)(3) and donations are tax deductible to the amount allowable by law. Also, donations may be made in name or anonymous.

For more information on how to make a donation please contact us at info@washingtonbar.org.

A Gift in Your Will

may be done simply by including a few sentences in your will. This charitable bequest is flexible to the donor because it can be changed at any time during the donors lifetime. It can also be structured in any way, with any amount, deemed appropriate by the donor.

Just include these sentences in your will or trust: "I, [name], of [city, state, ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to [specify Washington Bar Association or specify Washington Bar Association Educational Foundation], [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose."
