Introducing the The On Purpose Podcast Club hosted by the WBA Health & Wellness Committee

Do you feel like you’re abandoning yourself for work, money, and reputation? If so, how can you stop living as a fraction of yourself and show up as your full self at work and in other aspects of your life?

Join the first On Purpose Podcast Club hosted by the WBA’s Health & Wellness Committee on Tuesday, February 8 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm. This monthly series creates the space for WBA members to come together and discuss issues affecting our mental and emotional health when navigating the demanding practice of law. The intent of the series is to encourage WBA members to intentionally live “on purpose”—where you live in your purpose, passion, and the present moment.

In February, the club will listen to two episodes of The Homecoming Podcast with Dr. ThemaEpisode #125: Addressing Self Abandonment & Episode #129: Dare to Dream Again. Dr. Thema Bryant has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and was recently nominated for an NAACP Image award. You can follow her on Instagram @dr.thema.

To join the discussion, RSVP to Dana Weekes at dana.t.weekes@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link and a five-question guide to inform your listening of the episodes. We highly encourage WBA members to listen to the two episodes before the discussion.

The podcast club is also scheduled to meet in March, April, and May.
