Founded in 2010, the Washington Bar Association Educational Foundation (WBAEF) is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Washington Bar Association (WBA) that seeks to leverage the generosity of our community to support the WBA’s educational and charitable missions.
To further this mission, the Foundation raises tax deductible donations to fund scholarships, hosts educational workshops, and other charitable endeavors benefiting the DMV metropolitan area.
The Washington Bar Association Educational Foundation, Inc. provides a professional and financial support system for the next generation of lawyers and changemakers. For the last seven years, I have given my time, talent, and treasure to the Foundation because others invested in me when I was once a law student. It is our duty to continue to lift as we climb in the legal profession.

I love supporting the Foundation and I take advantage of every opportunity to serve this incredible organization. Not only do we secure and provide resources to support the success of our next generation of social engineers, but we also don’t hesitate to roll up our sleeves to support our surrounding communities by donating and volunteering at clothing and food drives, serving holiday meals, and organizing back-to-school drives so our children have what they need to thrive. This is why I will always support the Foundation.
